"Saved By the Bell" was recently used as an inspiration for an upcoming restaurant in Chicago.
According to Elle Décor, the restaurant, which will be called "Saved By the Max" will officially open its doors to customers starting June. The Chicago Tribune reported that the restaurant recently announced that they are open for advance reservations and customers have been signing up nonstop to try the food inside the restaurant.
Unfortunately, the restaurant won't be open forever because it is expected to close down come August. The short period of time though that the restaurant will be able to cater to guests would truly be memorable because most of their food on the menu are named after some of the characters on the hit TV show. This includes Lisa Turtle milkshakes, A.C. Sliders and more.
Derek Berry, the mastermind behind the concept of "Saved by the Max," shared photos of the restaurant online. Even the paint, chairs and the like will look similar to what was previously featured on the show.
Meanwhile, more information about Berry's venture is available on the "Saved by the Max" website which is www.savedbythemax.com.
"Brunch and late night service will still be walk-in only, so even if you don't score during the second round of ticket-buying frenzy, there's hope," Berry said.
It was also revealed that tickets for the opening of the restaurant in June became sold out during the first 20 minutes. This was the very reason why Berry decided to open more slots for their other customers.
With this, if you are visiting Chicago between June to August, it would be best for you to consider reserving a slot at the restaurant now. What makes it great is the fact that you can easily remember some of the best moments from the show just by dining at the restaurant.
