Celebrity Homes for Sale: Reality Star Karen Huger Lists Washington Home for $1.75M

Newly cast reality television star Karen Huger is having problems in selling her home in Washington, DC, and after three price cuts, she is still hoping to find a buyer at $1.749 million.

According to Variety, Huger and her husband, information technology entrepreneur Raymond Huger, purchased the two-acre estate in 2003 for $1.554 million. The property was first placed in the market in 2014 for $2.5 million, and when no one took the offer, they cut the price to $2.2 million later that year. It was taken off again and relisted in 2015 for $1,999,500 before the owners chopped the price off again to the current asking amount.

Listing details show that the home was built in 1995 and has a total area of 5,995 square feet. It has a total of six bedrooms and seven full bathrooms. The interior spaces are very large and roomy and it is also designed with upscale finishes and furnishings.

The entry way is bordered by the formal living and dining rooms which are covered with mirrored panels and gold-toned taffeta drapes. The kitchen is not that updated with taupe ceramic tile flooring, inexpensive cabinetry and a mismatched collection of medium-grade appliances. The main floor is complete with a library and an en-suite bathroom that is suitable for guests.

In the upper floor are the guest and family bedrooms. The master bedroom is complete with separate sitting and dressing room, and it also has a pair of walk-in closets and well-maintained master bathroom.

There is also a basement which incorporates a recreational room with fireplace and wet bar. There is also a media lounge, gym and a guest suite which is composed of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and one full kitchen.

Huffington Post reported that it was just this year that Huger was added as the "Grande Dame" of the "Real Housewives Of Potomac." In an interview, she revealed that she loves that title and she would wear it proudly.
