Living in an environment that promotes a healthy balance between life and work is a dream come true for most people. While there are certain places that often thrive in terms of career growth, many people are opting to move to a place where they can find a stable job and still find time to rest and relax. Which cities in the U.S. promote a work-life balance?
As previously reported here on Realty Today, there are several cities in the U.S. that have been revealed to have the happiest workers because of different factors. While it might be great to find a place with a healthy balance between work and life, Realtor.com notes that there are also certain places where lazy folks can thrive. By "lazy," it means that there are a lot of venues for relaxation as well as means to make life more comfortable.
For instance, in Boulder, CO, the average resident only spends an average of 34 hours in work every week, which is 4.4 hours less than the national average. Residents from this area also get an average of 7.12 hours of sleep every night.
Residents from Provo, UT work less than the aforementioned stats do. According to the publication, residents from this area work an average of 30.5 hours per week. It is also worthy to mention that five billion-dollar companies are some of the local employers in this area.
In terms of relaxation, Las Vegas, NV also has a host of restaurants, spas and different spots to keep their residents entertained. Those who wish to skip the wheels and luxuriously go to and from work without breaking the bank may opt for the Uber X, which is available in Miami, FL and costs only 85 cents per mile.
