Celebrity Homes: What's Inside Gwyneth Paltrow's New Santa Barbara Mansion

After listing her Tribeca apartment, the Oscar-winning actress has now dropped $4.9 million on a luxurious estate home in Santa Barbara, California. According to Trulia, Gwyneth Paltrow's new home is a four-bedroom, four bathroom property that overlooks the ocean from its multiple terraces and well-manicured gardens. The Venice-inspired Palladian style mansion has a total area of 5,022 square feet, but the listing details reveal that the place may still need a lot of work.

It was reported that the purchase also includes the property next door which is a home that has another three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Surely, Paltrow will have a lot of time planning and renovating the estate.

The property has a spacious living room and a stunning conservatory-style sitting room. It has floor-to-ceiling windows and towering ceilings, making the place bright and sunny. There are also 10 foot skylights which add light to the large room.

Outside, there is a two-car garage. There is also a long swimming pool. With over 2.5 acres of land, the actress might just create the perfect outdoor retreat which can be a perfect spot for parties with her power couple friends Beyoncé and Jay Z. Overall, the property has a lot of promise, and even before the possible renovation, the home still looks heavenly based on the listing photos, as every room is drenched with warm California sunlight and the large windows and terraces provide stunning views of the ocean.

According to Refinery, this is the third California property owned by Paltrow. The first property is the home in Malibu which she bought for $14 million and an equestrian estate in Los Angeles which was bought for $10 million. She bought both properties with her then-husband Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.
