IKEA recently launched their newest collection where they teamed up with British menswear designer Katie Eary. Also known as the Giltig, the collection features tabletop items and textiles that were digitally printed with graphic patterns and electric colors.
According to Eary, her collection may be described as trippy or something that can attract customers and turn up all of their senses. The collection also includes linen, dishes, duvet covers, lampshades and almost everything that you need at home.
While speaking with the publication, Eary revealed that she drew inspiration from Johnny Depp's movie "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" for her entire collection.
"I'm excited to bring a bit of personality into people's homes," she said.
Meanwhile, according to the Elle Décor, Giltig is only the first in the series of collaborations that IKEA has planned to have with several other fashion designers. This means that it's somewhat possible to see Kanye West teaming up with the famous Swedish furniture brand.
As of late though, it is still unclear which IKEA branches already have the Giltig collection or whether or not all branches across the world will have the collection. The prices for each item in the collection haven't also been released, but it's expected to be reasonably priced just like most of the items found in store.
Now that you know some information about the Giltig collection, chances are you might be interested in buying some items for your home. All you have to do is to go to the nearest IKEA store near you and from there, ask about the Giltig collection.
Remember, it's best to have a theme for all of the items and furniture that can be found in your home. If the Giltig collection fits the description of whatever it is that you want, make sure to purchase some of them now.
