Former Colorado Rockies pitcher Aaron Cook recently chopped the price of his Colorado home and is now selling it for $1.89 million. According to Realtor, the 8,506-square-foot mansion features a traditional-style design.
Listing details reveal that the house has a total of seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and it would be a perfect vacation retreat for people who have big families. Upon entering the mansion, one will surely be impressed with the grand staircase.
On the same floor, there is also the formal living room and library that features stunning vaulted ceilings. The kitchen is equipped with high-end Wolf appliances, and it also has a large center island. The dining room is designed with rock walls and hardwood floors. There is also an oversized chandelier which allows one to dine in a luxurious fashion.
On the lower levels, there is the wine tasting room, home gym with sauna, recording room and a theater room which can accommodate up to eight people.
On the upper level of the home is where the master bedroom is located. It features large windows that overlook Table Mountain, and it also has a stunning master bathroom that has a jetted tub with fireplace. There is also a large maser closet. On the upper floor there are other three bedrooms, all of which have their own walk-in closet.
The exterior of the home is filled with a lot of outdoor recreational areas as it has a swimming pool with a 30-foot water slide, a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen and a fireplace. The listing agent describes it as an extremely private property, and it also has access to 100 miles of trails for those who want to go trekking. The property is located 15 miles from downtown Denver, but the privacy of the home makes it seem as if it is situated in a remote location.
Cook spent 10 years with the Rockies and even made the All Star team in 2008.
