Motley Crue's founding member Tommy Lee just listed his Calabasas home for $5.99 million. According to Variety, Lee bought the place in April 2007 for $5.85 million. The 9,991-square-foot property has a total of five bedrooms and six bathrooms and is located in a secluded cul-de-sac in the guard-gated community of Vista Pointe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the property also features a state-of-the-art recording studio and a piano-shaped pool. The home also features a formal living room which has a palace-style carved stone fireplace that is set between arched niches. It is adjoined by the dining room which has lustrous chevron pattern hardwood floors. On the same level there is also a family room that has a TV-surmounted stacked stone fireplace and a bank of glass sliders which open to the beautiful backyard.
The large kitchen is decorated with beige speckled granite countertops and custom brown cabinetry with tan-colored tile back splashes. It is also equipped with high-end appliances. It opens to the atrium and breakfast nook that has a built-in desk space. There are also glass sliders which lead to the outdoor swimming pool.
Other features of the home include an office with built-in bookshelves and glass sliders that lead to a private terrace. There's a Las Vegas VIP lounge-style sitting room decorated with a small chandelier and purple and black wall paper, a stone-walled wine cellar that has a kitchen, and a home theater complete with brown leather theater recliners and a full bar.
The master bedroom is designed in a rock star fashion as it has jet black wall-to-wall carpeting, and there is also a baby grand piano in the corner. It also features a spacious custom-fitted walk-in closet and the master bathroom that is designed with speckled beige granite counter tops along with red brocade wallpaper and a mirrored ceiling. There are also several rooms at the back of the house which open to the multi-level terrace with swimming pool.
