Folk-pop singer Jewel is selling her Texas home for an affordable price of $335,000. According to Pop Sugar, Jewel and her ex-husband, Ty Murray, bought the ranch house back in 2007. The property is located just about two hours outside Dallas.
According to Variety, the 3,000-square-foot property that sites on 4.4 acres of land has a total of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was said that although the exterior of the home may not look that stunning, the interior was professionally decorated and gives out a charming character.
The interior has an open floor plan and it also features hand-scraped oak floors and whitewashed ceiling beams. There is also a colorful fireplace that has a large rough-hewn wood mantelpiece.
The kitchen is completely open to the living and dining areas. It features custom-painted and faux-distressed cabinetry and it is designed with gray concrete and mossy green Brazilian river-rock countertops. It is also has bead-board-paneled ceiling treatment and it is equipped with a full array of modern high end stainless steel appliances.
There is also a separate den that is lined with floor-to-ceiling shelves and media storage cabinets. It has a pair of French doors which open to the outdoor ranchlands.
It was revealed that Murray still owns several nearby properties while Jewel d moved to Nashville after she bought a brand spanking new, 5,000-square-foot home that sits on just 1 acre of land for $1.3 million in March 2015.
Jewel is one of the top selling female recording artists in history after selling over 27 million albums worldwide. She met and married pro rodeo cowboy, Ty Murray and gave birth to their son in 2011. It was said that the former couple bought the Texas ranch in January 2011 while planning for the arrival of their first born.
