Walt Disney held its 31st annual Christmas Day Parade at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida with the "2014 Disney Parks Frozen Christmas Celebration," featuring performances by stars like Ariana Grande, Lucy Hale and more, Broadway World reported.
The Parade, which was pre-recorded earlier this month, was shown on television on the morning of Dec. 25. The festivities were held with a "Frozen" twist based on the 2013 animated film that starred Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf and carried a theme of "uniting family and loved ones." The show hammered home the theme by uniting three different Disney locations.
"Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts hosted the Parade, alongside GMA Contributor and ESPN analyst Tim Tebow from Walt Disney World Resort. "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland was on hand at the Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii, while "Good Morning America" senior meteorologist Rob Marciano brought news from Disneyland Resort .
Performers also serenaded the crowd with their hit songs, as well as songs off of the "Frozen" original soundtrack.
YouTube sensation Lexi Walker performed the single "Let It Go" accompanied by the One Voice Children's Choir, while Laura Marano sang "Do You Want To Build A Snowman", and "X Factor" season three winners Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton performed "Love Is An Open Door."
Lucy Hale performed her single "Mistletoe" while atop a Cars Land float, while Ariana Grande sang her Christmas single "Santa Tell Me" as well as the classic "Last Christmas" while wearing Mickey Mouse ears and joined by dancers decked out in snow-white outfits.
Prince Royce belted out his own rendition of "I Want To Wish You A Merry Christmas" and "Feliz Navidad," while Gavin DeGraw was also present for "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and his single "Fire."
Train, Trey Songz and Trisha Yearwood were also on hand to serenade the crowd, according to Hollywood Take. Miss America 2015 Kira Kazantsev also made a special appearance, and around 800 cheerleaders from all over the country were invited to march in the parade, according to Broadway World.
There were also appearances by Mickey Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Wreck It Ralph, Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty" in her fire-breathing dragon form, the cast and heroes of "Big Hero 6" and the penguins of "Club Penguin." The "Frozen" sisters Queen Elsa and Princess Anna were also in attendance, according to Just Jared and Broadway World.
The Disney Christmas Parade aired on Thursday at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on ABC, and was available for livestream on ABC. Videos of the performances and the Parade festivities have appeared online, but ABC has yet to announce reruns or replays of the show.
