Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran reportedly ran into one another on Christmas Eve at the Playhouse nightclub and sources claimed that the two had a private chat about giving their relationship another try, TMZ reported.
According to sources, Brown has been trying to get ahold of Tran in an attempt to "reconnect" with her after their public and dramatic break-up. However, Tran initially didn't want to have anything to do with Brown until their encounter at Playhouse where she was hosting a holiday party and toy drive.
The sources also claimed that the two chatted politely before Brown invited Tran to talk at a more private area. The two left the venue to talk after the model agreed.
Reporters from TMZ even managed to take a video of the two on Wednesday morning walking out of the club together, but leaving separately.
After being spotted together, rumors started circulating that the on-again off-again couple was getting back together again.
The rumors only started getting louder after the pair was spotted at Sean Kingston's annual holiday bash Christmas With The Kingston on Thursday in Los Angeles, according to Daily Mail.
Tran was photographed in attendance at the party dressed in a black turtleneck and trousers and talking with friends, while Brown was seen in a white trucker hat and grey vest as he partied together with Kingston and the likes of Soulja Boy and French Montana.
Not only that, after Kingston's party, Brown and Tran were seen in Beverly Hills on Friday taking the latter's dog for a walk, according to Hollywood Life.
Their stroll around the block came after Brown allegedly gifted Tran with two diamond rings for Christmas, which Tran's friends claimed were not engagement rings. Instead, they were gifts from Brown apologizing to Tran for how he had mistreated her.
If the couple were engaged though, Tran's friends said the 26-year-old model would have been "screaming that from the top of her lungs."
A source also told Hollywood Life that Brown doesn't know much about rings or diamonds but liked both and decided to get them for Tran when he couldn't decide which one to get for her.
The source added that Brown gave them to Tran on Christmas Eve along with a kiss on the lips and reportedly apologized, promising not to do it again.
Tran was reportedly speechless and kept "fanning her face" so that she wouldn't cry, before thanking Brown and saying she loved and trusted him.
