A visual effects expert involved in the production of Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" film has dropped a major teaser about the upcoming movie.
Joe Letteri, who revealed that he is part of the team working on the superhero-filled flick, spoke to The Collider and revealed that he and hs team are involved in creating a sequence that's "self contained" and wasn't showcased during the recent Comic-Con.
The effects guru was asked by Collider regarding how the film would compare to the epic opening Krypton segment featured on "Man of Steel."
"The sequence that we're doing is sort of self-contained, and I don't think you would've seen any of that yet. ... I can't really give any away, but it is a standalone sequence and I think you'll be able to pick it out when you do see it," said Letteri.
With all the news about what to expect in the upcoming film, Letteri has just revealed the quality and attention to detail that Snyder and the production team are committed to providing in order to give audiences a bang with regards to special effects.
Joe holds the position of Senior Visual Effects Supervisor at Weta Digital, as per Cinema Blend. The New Zealand based firm has worked on a number of other major blockbusters that include "Planet of the Apes" and various Hobbit movies. Additionally, they were also contracted to aid in the effects for "The Wolverine" and Marvel's "Iron Man 3" and had a hand in the wild Thor vs. Iron Man rumble in "The Avengers."
The cast for the highly-anticipated movie include Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
"Dawn of Justice" will act as the springboard for two more superhero films, namely "Justice League Part One" and "Justice League Part Two" listed for 2017 and 2019. Both films have Zack Snyder listed as director.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated for release in March 25, 2016.
