Cleveland Cavaliers News: LeBron James Talks Dwyane Wade & Return to Miami?

Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers fans have been on a frenzy following reports that LeBron James and Dwayne Wade may be reuniting for "bigger and better things."

As one of NBA's Christmas Games, the Cavs lost to James' former team, the Miami Heat. However, more than the game results, what made headlines was the cryptic line delivered by the 30-year-old basketball superstar to his former teammate, Wade, 32, that he could be returning to Miami.

According to Sports Illustrated, the NBA posted a video over its official YouTube account, in the last 10 seconds of the clip, James is overheard as he talks to Wade.

"Like I said, if we aren't better this year, we're gonna reunite again and do some bigger and better things, alright? You already know."

When the NBA MVP was asked about the comments, per ESPN via Pro Basketball Talk, the superstar didn't deny the comments but revealed that the message didn't have anything to do with basketball.

Speaking to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, James explained the exchange in the following statement:

"I've seen the clip just like you've seen the clip. I don't know exactly what I said at the beginning, either. I know I said, 'We'll get back together and do some bigger and better things,' but it had nothing to do about basketball. I mean, if was going to tell him that, I'd tell him the night before. Come on, guys. I'm not stupid. I know I didn't go to college but I'm not stupid. I wouldn't say that on Christmas with a hundred cameras around. I would have told him the night before at his house. But, it's just me so I get it. I get it. But it had nothing to do with leaving here and reuniting with him. It had everything to do with just talking about other things more than just basketball. Everybody gets so involved in basketball, our friendship, obviously, you guys know is bigger than basketball. So, you know, our last four years couldn't be bigger and better even if we did get back together. But, whatever. It's crazy."

Additionally, the Inquisitr noted that should the two players have a plan to reunite, it doesn't mean the pair would stay in either team. Both Wade and James have an option as free agents in the coming season and could choose to bring back the duo in another team.
