CES 2015: LG G Flex 2, Asus Zenfone 2, Zenfone Zoom, Panasonic CM-1 Unveiled -- Review, Specs & Price Round Up

Four new phones have been unveiled at the CES 2015, namely, the LG G Flex 2, Asus Zenfone 2, Zenfone Zoom and the Panasonic CM-1.

Here is a quick round up of what the new smartphones have to offer:

LG G Flex 2

The G Flex 2 is LG's flagship device that sports an attention-grabbing curved form display. The new scratch-resistant phablet has a downgraded 5.5-inch (down from 6-inches), P-OLED (1080p resolution) display, and comes equipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop, reports TechCrunch.

In addition, it rivals many of the high-end smartphones in the market with an octa-core 64-bit 2GHz SnapDragon chipset, 2GB of RAM, 3,000mAh battery, 16 or 32GB internal memory and a microSD slot. For travelers, you're in luck as the LG G Flex 2 supports the latest LTE bands. On the other hand, camera-users will enjoy OIS+, Laser Auto Focus, a 13-MP shooter with dual-LED flash and a 2.1-MP front-camera.

The phones will be made available in South Korea by the end of January and then released in our countries soon after. No prices have been indicated.

Asus Zenfone 2

The new Asus ZenFone 2 is a dual-SIM LTE device that boasts f a 5.5-inch (1080p) IPS display, 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 chipset, Gorilla Glass 3, 3,000 mAh fast-charge technology, up to 4GB of RAM, 64GB local storage, microSD slot, and is pre-programmed with the newest Android 5.0 Lollipop, noted Engadget. Enjoy a slim frame and a 3-MP/ 5-MP back and front camera.

Asus is proud to announce that those looking for a great phone at an affordable price can enjoy the ZenFone 2 for just $199 off-contract.

Asus ZenFone Zoom

Aside from the ZenFone 2, Asus launched the ZenFone Zoom -- an Android 5.0 Lollipop, 5.5-inch smartphone with 13-MP in the back, a 5-MP shutter in the front and 3x optical zoom.

This device was created for those who enjoy taking photos. Android Central rounds up the features to include manual mode controls for white balance, exposure, ISO, shutter speed and s on. Ensuring you get the best results, the device is packed with a laser-based auto focus for precise and quick measurements.

The ZenFone Zoom will be available during the second quarter of 2015 with a retail price tag of $399.

Both Asus phones will come with the latest version of ZenUI for Android Lollipop.

Panasonic CM-1

Competing with the ZenFone Zoom is the CM-1 that offers high-quality smartphone photos. The 4.7-inch Full HD LCD Android smartphone has a 20-MP one-inch sensor, writes Gizmodo.

Move with ease using its Snapdragon 801 processor running on 2.3GHz. Programmed with Android 4.4 KitKat, the CM-1 comes with 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot. Although it doesn't have optical zoom, notes Trusted Reviews, it does have a 28mm lens with f2.8 aperture.

More than photos, you can also shoot stunning 4K videos. The CM1 will drop in the summer and cost you $1000 for an unlocked GSM version.
