2015 Honda Accord Review, Price, Features & Specs: Best Ever?

At first glance, the 2015 Honda Accord may not have much difference than its predecessor. But the updated model of the Japanese carmaker's sedan is packed with new technology and safety features that makes it more than any ordinary car on the road.

In spite of its smaller size compared to the previous model, the luxury car boasts of numerous safety features that could make it one of the leading models in the market. According to Master Herald, the makers behind the new Honda Accord place high importance in the safety of the passengers as well as pedestrians.

One important feature of the sedan is the rearview camera, which allows drivers to see all the way to the back of the car. With this addition, drivers' vision would not be limited anymore, which could help in avoiding accidents.

The carmaker also made improvements on the car's Anti-Lock Braking Design and the Dual-Stage, Multi-Threshold Front Airbags. Not only that but they have also added a SmartVent Front Side Airbags into this model.

Honda did not stop there. In ensuring that the all-new Accord would be the safest car in the market, the automakers also included a Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Side Curtain Airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and Vehicle Stability Assist that has Traction Control.

For passengers with young kids on board, the company has included an Outboard Rear Seat Lower Anchors and Tethers for children.

On the external side, the 2015 Accord still has the trademark Honda front grille but the whole look of the car gives it a sporty and elegant vibe according to their website. Adding to that sophistication are the alloy wheels that comes with every car, giving it a bold, understated look. With its updated aerodynamic features on top, what you get is a bestseller, according to Car And Driver.

With all these features packed in an automobile, one could expect a hefty price tag to accompany the Accord. But Honda's flagship vehicle has been awarded the Best Buy of 2014 for mid-sized cars by Kelly Blue Book because of its affordable price. Beginning at $22,000, one could already drive home this luxury.

So confident is Honda in the Accord's new make and additional features that it brought the car to India, where consumers are keener to purchase SUVs than sedans. Perhaps it's with this confidence that the 2015 Accord was included in the list of best cars in the new year by the Economic Times of India. Whether the accolade proves true would be seen in the coming months.
