Rapper-turned-actor Ludacris is officially a married man.
It has been confirmed that the 37-year-old rapper married his long-time girlfriend Eudoxie Mbouguiengue, 37, over the holidays.
The newlywed posted a photo of himself and his new bride over his Instagram account. The adorable pic was captioned: "Why wait? Did the thing before 2015. #mrandmrsrbridges"
According to TMZ, two weeks after announcing his engagement, the "Fast and Furious" actor tied the knot with his girlfriend of nearly 5 years.
The entertainment site is reporting that the pair were married on the same day that the music icon proposed.
Sources revealed that after proposing during the earlier that day, they couple had dinner and upon returning home, a wedding dress -- picked out by Luda's mom -- was laid out for the lovely brunette.
"This was all a surprise to Eudoxie, but she was game so they got married on the spot. A few friends and family members were there to celebrate," wrote TMZ.
Mbouguiengue looked gorgeous in the simple, floor-length dress accented by a white and lavender bouquet.
Two weeks ago, Luda -- whose real name is Christopher Bridges -- shared a photo documenting the mile-high proposal that happened while on a holiday trip in Costa Rica.
Over a field visible to the pair as their plane landed, Luda made arrangements to have "Eudoxie Will You Marry Me" written on a field.
In an Instagram post, the "Act a Fool" singer announced that his long-time love said yes.
"She didn't say yes. She said HELL YES! #milehighproposal," wrote Luda highlighting the happiness they felt.
"It was a beautiful wedding," said a source to E! News, reported UPI.
"The wedding was small and only close friends and family were in attendance. Ludacris was so thrilled to be getting married and filled with such love for his lady. He was a bit nervous when it was happening but in a very good kinda way."
"We can confirm they got married privately over the holidays," quoted Indian Express of Ludacris's representative.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
Ludacris is returning for the 7th installment of "Fast and the Furious." The rapper will be joined by an all-star cast that includes the late Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Vin Diesel.
