The results are out, and the winners have been named in the 2015 People's Choice Awards.
In a report by Hollywood Reporter, Ellen DeGeneres, Matt Bomer, and Chris Evans were among the big winners at the awards ceremony at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, Californa. Among the highlights of the night were Betty White who accepted the TV Icon Award, and Ben Affleck who was named Favorite Humanitarian.
The ceremony was hosted by Anna Faris and Allison Janney. The nominations were released on November 4, 2014.
White, the star of "Hot in Cleveland," was greeted with a standing ovation after receiving her TV Icon Award.
The legendary actress, who is turning 93 on January 17, said that she was surprised to be still winning awards at her age.
In his speech, Affleck said that he did not consider himself a humanitarian until recently. In fact, he said he still had a hard time accepting the title.
He praised the "real humanitarians... who spend every waking moment building a future for their families and their communities," according to Hollywood Reporter.
The award was presented by his costar Amy Adams, who will play Lois Lane in the upcoming "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice."
