It seems that fans of the British group, One Direction, might have something to worry about. Rumors are swirling that the famous boy band might go their separate ways soon after their upcoming world tour comes to an end.
According to Inquisitr, members of the boy band are already feeling the strain of constant touring and being in the spotlight. While no actual confirmation has been made on when the group would split up, some are saying that their upcoming world tour could very well be their last together.
Word is out that some of the band members are already looking at branching out from the pop group with some considering acting as the next step. In a report by The Daily Mail, Harry Styles was said to have met with famous film producer Harry Weinstein to talk about a new film, which could star the singer.
The producer was so impressed with Styles that he reportedly described the British man as "super-charismatic," says The Daily Mail. However, Styles is said to have turned down Weinstein's offer for a role because of his busy tour schedule.
Niall Horan, on the other hand, seems to be feeling the lows of constantly being in the public eye. He shared that touring could be quite "lonely" and because of the fame, it has become hard for them to go around alone in public places, especially with fans constantly hounding them.
The regular traveling for tours and concerts has also affected the stars' personal lives. Zayn Malik got engaged to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards in 2013. However, while the two were supposed to tie the knot last year, it was postponed to give way to their band's different commitments.
It also didn't help quell the rumors when One Direction's manager, "The X Factor" judge Simon Cowell, spoke of how bands typically end. Metro reported that Cowell -- who was speaking with The Daily Star -- said, "Bands don't stay together forever. I think they will make at least two more albums together and they are in the middle of one right now."
One Direction's contract with Cowell's SyCo is set to end this year and no word yet on its renewal has gone out.
While this news has unsettled many One Direction fans worldwide, the boys are keen on letting the world know that they enjoy what they are doing and given the choice, would opt to continue doing so. Styles previously told Metro that he is "100 percent in the band" when hit with the solo career-rumors.
Horan, meanwhile addressed the One Direction split talks and told the Irish Sun that they are "going to go as long as they can." He further added, "As long as people want us, we'll be here."
