"The Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence, 24, was rumored to be dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 37, in a relationship that was believed to have ended in October.
Us Weekly reports the reports of a breakup were actually inaccurate. Sources for the publication say that Gwyneth Paltrow's ex-husband and Lawrence have "been together the whole time."
"Chris spends the night at her house when he's in L.A. and they have a system for him to come and go without anyone knowing," added the insider.
Allegedly, the couple wanted to keep their relationship a secret and while the world believed they had gone their separate ways, they actually spent time together over the year-end holidays.
"Neither of them wanted to be a public couple so quickly. So they told people they were broken up while they continued to build a relationship," revealed another insider to Us.
Their relationship began July 20014 and throughout the seven months they've been together, J.Law and Paltrow haven't met. "Chris hasn't wanted them to meet yet," says a friend of J.Law. "Gwyneth and Chris are co-parenting without Jen involved for now."
Even though Martin and Lawrence haven't admitted their relationship, that hasn't stopped Gwyneth from talking about it, basically confirming that a romance is taking place.
The Goop founder finally spoke out about rumors that she doesn't approve of the younger actress. While on Howard Stern's talk show earlier this week, the "Iron Man" actress trusts the judgment of her former husband.
"Who says I don't approve of Jennifer Lawrence?" Gwyneth said. "I respect [Chris] as the father of my children... It's his decision... He wouldn't be with someone who isn't great," quoted E! Online of the 42-year-old blonde.
Recently, Martin was spotted sharing a sushi meal with Lawrence on New Year's Eve. Bustle notes how engrossed the pair looked as their complete attention was focused on each other.
