Almost two months since pop singer-songwriter Austin Mahone and Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello broke up, it seems the two are on their way back to reuniting again. Rumors are saying that the two have been spotted together recently.
According to Kdramastars, both Mahone and Cabello were seen attending the 18th birthday party of their good pal, Hailee Steinfeld, in December. The two have remained friends after their split last November. However, fans of the former couple hoping for a reunion would be disappointed. The former couple bumped into each other at the party but no sparks flew the second time around.
The website reported that a source told E! News about Mahone and Cabello attending the party but no more than that. The insider also said: "Austin was with a group of friends, but not one girl in particular," adding that "He was sweet to all the ladies at the party."
The two met each other in August at the MTV Video Music Awards, noted Hollywood Life. The two began hanging out and soon became inseparable.
Cabello confirmed that she and Mahone were dating in an interview with "Watch What Happens Live" early November, said Hollywood Life in a separate article. The "Say Somethin" singer also posted an update on his Twitter account two days after the interview, confirming his new relationship status.
However, it was a short-lived happiness for the fans of the couple, as the couple broke up only a few weeks after the Fifth Harmony member admitted their relationship.
Hollywood Life, in another report, stated that the couple split due to unresolved issues which had been hounding them in the relationship even before the "X-Factor" alum went public with it.
An insider told the website: "There was some trouble in the relationship brewing and as a last-ditch effort, Camila made it official. That was one of the biggest stumbling blocks: She wanted to tell people and he wanted to keep it low key."
Since the two have split, Mahone seems to have not wasted any time moping about his failed relationship. The "Secrets" singer has been busy concentrating on his music career, reported BSC Kids.
The 18-year old singer has recently posted a photo on Instagram showing his computer screen and what appears to be a recording. Mahone has not made any mention on what he is currently working on but fans are already anticipating what his next album would be like.
