Following recent reports claiming Jennifer Lawrence, 24, and Coldplay singer Chris Martin, 37, never broke up surfaced, the pair was spotted Thursday having an intimate dinner together in Los Angeles Italian restaurant Madeo.
"The Hunger Games" actress and ex-husband of Gwyneth Paltrow began dating in August and according to a People Magazine source, were very sweet on each other at dinner.
Over a candlelight table, the celebrities reportedly spent nearly two hours together, ordered several dishes and shared dessert. "They looked happy and just focused on each other," shared the onlooker to People. "They were smiling, talking and very friendly."
A New York Post spy also commented that the celebrities laughed and giggled throughout the entire meal.
"They were totally into each other," recalled the eyewitness. "The romance is on for sure." The spy also divulged that when dessert time came around, it was Lawrence who encouraged the musician to order something. They were seen splitting the mille-feuille, a puff pastry dessert.
The rumored romance is one that hasn't been officially admitted by either party but another source did comment on how well the relationship is going.
"Even though they are both busy, the relationship is solid," quoted People of a knowing insider. "They see each other when they can."
"Jennifer understands that the children come first with Chris and his relationship with Gwyneth is based around the family and it will always be a part of his life," the insider continued. "Things are good between them."
Relationship Confirmed
While Martin and Lawrence have kept mum on the relationship, the "Shakespeare In Love" ex-wife commented on her rumored problem with the younger actress.
"Who says I don't approve of Jennifer Lawrence," Paltrow said while on a guest appearance on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show (clip below). "I respect him as the father of my children...It's his decision...He wouldn't be with someone who isn't great."
It was believed that after dating for about three months, the pair split and went their separate ways. However, sources insist that the couple have been together since the start. They never broke up and wanted people to believe they weren't together so they could continue to build on their relationship in private.
"Neither of them wanted to be a public couple so quickly. So they told people they were broken up while they continued to build a relationship," revealed an insider to Us Weekly.
