"Que Te Perdone Dios" has just premiered on Univision. The telenovela, which stars Zuria Vega and Mark Tacher, is based on a Caridad Bravo Adams original, featuring Aracely Arámbula and Fernando Colunga. Here's why viewers should watch "Que Te Perdone Dios," as reported by Latin Times.
Vega and Tacher's team-up is probably one of the main reasons why fans should look forward to the telenovela. The duo's evident chemistry, which was first seen on "Que Pobres Tan Ricos," is an ingredient for good television.
"At moments we were for them getting back together except we remembered Mark's character was evil and 'un interesado.' This time, they are back together and are the lead couple and we can't wait to see them together again," Latin Times noted.
Viewers should also expect to witness the return of Irán Castillo, who also previously appeared as a younger actress in telenovelas such as "Precious" and "Agujetas De Color De Rosa."
According to the news outlet, Castillo will serve as a guest star in the first few episodes of "Que Te Perdone Dios" and will hopefully "lead to producers asking her back for a full-on role soon." The actress last appeared on a Televisa show called "Mundo De Fieras" back in 2006.
Rebecca Jones, who just finished a show in Telemundo titled "Señora Acero," will also make an appearance in the upcoming show. According to Latin Times, the Mexican actress tends "to stay away from classic melodrama productions and only accepts roles where she portrays strong women who have something to say." Jones' role in "Que Te Perdone Dios" will be something new and different, and it's a sure treat for her fans.
Aside from Vega, Tacher, Jones, and Castillo, other cast members include Sergio Goyri, Sabine Moussier, Alejandra García ("Lo Que la Vida Me Robó"), Eric del Castillo ("Abismo de Pasión"), Diego Muñoz, Laisha Wilkins, Alejandro ávila, Ana Bertha Espín, Ferdinando Valencia, Ana Patricia Rojo, Raúl Olivo, and María Sorte.
"Que Te Perdone Dios" is a production from Angelli Nesma, whose past telenovelas include "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," "Abismo De Pasión," "María La Del Barrio," "Por Tu Amor," and "Niña, Amada Mía." Several of Nesma's teledramas clicked among the masses and it should be expected that "Que Te Perdone Dios" would not be an exception.
"Que Te Perdone Dios" airs on Monday through Friday at 10 PM ET/PT on Univision.
