'Ant-Man' Movie & Trailer: Teaser Judy Greer Talks Movie Details

"Arrested Development" actress Judy Greer revealed a lot when she shared her experience while on the set of Marvel superhero flick, "Ant-Man." Playing the role of Paul Rudd's ex-wife Maggie, she revealed that there was a lot of fun times and comedic improv happening on the set, reports IGN.

"I haven't seen it yet but there was a lot of comedy on set and we did a lot of comedic improv. I don't know what will end up in the movie, but yeah."

This little leak tells us that "Ant-Man" may be providing us a lot more comic relief that we might have initially thought.

She also speaks highly of her co-star Paul Rudd playing the role of Scott Lang. "Paul is so awesome and he's so great in this role."

Greer continues to add: "This has been my first comic hero that I've really researched and fallen for. I also think the Ant-Man origin story that we tell in our movie is really beautiful and I think there's something really real about a man trying to better himself for his family."

Aside from "Ant-Man," Greer is going to get a lot of airtime in 2015 as the gorgeous actress is also going to be appearing in a number of other movies that include blockbusters "Tomorrowland" and "Jurassic World."

"Ant-Man" Movie Rumors

While most of the details for the film remains a secret, we do know that the film is going to be much more refined and larger than initially thought.

Screenwriter Adam McKay shared in an interview with Collider that his involvement -- which entailed a bit of rewrite of Edgar Wright's earlier script -- and partnership with Paul Rudd and Peyton Reed led to something he's very proud of.

"I was really proud of what we did, I really thought we put some amazing stuff in there and built on an already strong script from Edgar Wright and sort of just enhanced some stuff."

He goes on to continue that they've worked hard to create some awesome action sequences making the film "more aggressive."

"We added some new action beats. I grew up on Marvel Comics so the geek in me was in heaven that I got to add a giant action sequence to the movie; I was so excited. So we did, we added some cool new action. There's a lot that's already in there from what Edgar did, there's a lot of dialogue and character still in there... We just shaped the whole thing, we just tried to streamline it, make it cleaner, make it a little bigger, a little more aggressive, make it funnier in places-we just basically did a rewrite. Edgar had a really good script."

"Ant-Man" arrives in theaters July 17, 2015.
