It seems that Selena Gomez has finally moved on from her relationship with Justin Bieber. The former Disney star is rumored to have found a new love with DJ and music producer, Zedd.
According to People, Gomez and Zedd were seen getting cozy with each other at the Golden Globe Awards. A photo of the two leaving the awards ceremony hand-in-hand sparked the rumor that they are now more than friends.
Days after the awards ceremony, the two posted more photos that teased fans of the possible closer-than-friends status of their relationship. The "Love Will Remember" singer, who was in Atlanta shooting for her new film, "The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving," uploaded a photo of her and Zedd on Instagram. The caption that accompanies it reads, "missing la and this punk, just a little tonight."
A few hours later, the music producer also posted a photo of Gomez on his Instagram account. The photo shows the ex-teen star in bed with a hand covering half of her face while a small screen on the upper left corner showed Zedd's face, confirming that the two have been chatting, reported IB Times. The photo, which was captioned, "Oh hi derrling... - The Room," further intensified rumors that the two are now an item.
According to The Hot Hits, the photo has "basically confirmed their love for one another." However, both Gomez and Zedd have remained mum on the status of their relationship and have not confirmed anything.
Gomez and Zedd, whose real name is Anton Zaslavski according to PerezHilton.com, are currently working on an album, reported Your EDM. The collaboration is Gomez' first album with Interscope Records after bidding adieu to Hollywood Records. However, no word has been said yet on just exactly how many songs the German-raised producer would be doing for Gomez.
Before Zedd, Gomez was in an on-off relationship with pop star, Justin Bieber. According to Hollywood Life, the two finally broke up in October 2014 right after their Paris vacation.
It seems though, that Bieber is trying to win back Gomez after becoming jealous and feeling threatened of the Russian DJ/music producer, noted Hollywood Life in a separate report. The two reportedly met up for dinner on January 15 at Mastro's Steakhouse. But the dinner was not a reconciliation of any sort.
According to another report by IB Times, a source revealed to Hollywood Life that the dinner "was a huge disappointment for Selena because he's basically the same Justin."
The source added, "He was bragging about himself the whole time, and how 2015 was going to be his best and most successful year ever." Gomez apparently was not impressed.
The brief dinner brought Gomez and Zedd closer instead, said Hollywood Life.
