Fans of the Jordan shoes by Nike would finally have a chance to wear all the Air Jordan shoes in one design with the new Jordan Dub Zero in "Wolf Grey."
The famous sports apparel brand came up with the Jordan Dub Zero in 2005, said Latin Post. However, since its first release, the sneaker only went through five overhauls, unlike other designs in the signature line.
According to Nike's official website, the Jordan Dub Zero is making a comeback in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Jordan brand. The last time the company came out with this design was 6 years ago, in 2009.
The "Wolf Grey" colorway of the Jordan Dub Zero is officially listed in Nike as Wolf Grey/Classic Charcoal-White-University Blue.
Called the "hybrid of hybrids" by Complex, the new Dub Zero boasts of designs taken from the Air Jordan 1 to 20. The sneaker's shape is reminiscent of the Air Jordan 13 while the midsole and outsole were taken from the Air Jordan 4. People who have the Air Jordan 6 would be reminded of their own pair when they see the shoe's pull tab, which was copied from the said edition.
The new colorway has a wolf grey base with a charcoal color on the side, detailed Kicks on Fire. The charcoal side is engraved with a laser design. The shoe's tongue is also in the same dark grey color with hints of University Blue.
Upon closer look, the figures "TWO3" could be seen stitched in white on the tongue in between the laces to signify Michael Jordan's jersey number from the Chicago Bulls.
Meanwhile, accents of University Blue are found on the inner lining, outsole and heel. The inner sole is branded with the number "30" for the franchise' anniversary, with a "Jumpman" logo in the middle.
The white sole is speckled with dark blue spots on the side, which adds character to the whole design.
A "Jumpman" logo, which characterizes the Jordan brand, is stitched with University Blue color, on the sneakers' tongue.
Fans who are excited to add this one-of-a-kind edition to their collection could expect the Dub Zero "Wolf Grey" to hit Nike retail stores and Nike.com on January 24.
The shoe could be enjoyed by adults and kids alike as the company has come out with a smaller size for preschoolers, sold for $60. Grade school sizes would retail at $80.
Meanwhile, adult sizes are sold for $120 a pair.
