Sneakerheads only have to wait for a few more days before the Air Jordan 7 "French Blue" edition hits the market.
In a report by Solecollector, Jordan Brand announced that it is set to release "remastered" lines of retros beginning this year. The year marks the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan and, the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan VII.
One of the models set to be released is the Air Jordan 7 Retro "French Blue" edition, which is officially listed as the White/French Blue-University Blue-Flint Grey colorway of this retro model, reports Latin Post.
The Air Jordan 7 "French Blue" features a white-based tumbled leather upper part combined with French Blue and University Blue colors.
The new model boasts of "University Blue and French Blue that intertwine on the sneaker's midsole, tongue, heel, and sole that give the sneaker a nice touch of color," according to Kicks On Fire.
The "French Blue" edition was originally released in 2002 when the Air Jordan VII was retroed for the first time.
Air Jordan 7 "French Blue" edition is scheduled to be released on Jan. 24 at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide. Retail prices are set at $190 for men's sizes, $140 for gradeschool sizes, $80 for preschool sizes and $60 for toddler sizes.
Another model that will be released is the Jordan Dub Zero "Wolf Grey" edition, which is officially listed as the Wolf Grey/Classic Charcoal-White-University blue colorway.
The model features a "wolf grey and classic charcoal-based upper part with laser prints, finished off with white and university blue hints on the sole."
First released in 2005, the Jordan Dub Zero will be part of the 30th anniversary celebration of Jordan Brand.
In an article posted on Kicks On Fire, the Air Jordan Dub Zero was created as a tribute to the first 20 Air Jordan models.
Retail prices for the Jordan Dub Zero "Wolf Grey" are set at $160 per pair on Nike.com and select stores worldwide. It will also come in gradeschool sizes priced at $120, preschool sizes at $80, and toddler sizes at $60.
Jordan Brand has also announced its plan to release Air Jordan 7 GS "Marvin the Martian" as a tribute to the popular Looney Tunes character.
The seventh signature shoe by Michael Jordan, Air Jordan 7 GS "Marvin the Martian" sports "nubuck upper and leather overlays dressed in black, shades of grey, green, and red, adorning the branding, accents, and patterned tongue."
