Meghan Trainor and Harry Styles are presently being rumored to be secretly dating. It would turn out that these two amazingly skilled artists are merely working together to come up with a heart-breaking duet.
The "All About That Bass" pop star and the One Direction band member collaborated and came up with a love song, titled "Someday Maybe." "It's beautiful," revealed Trainor.
The 21-year-old "Lips are Movin" hit maker's lips were moving when she slipped a few of the song's lines, according to Sugar Scape. Trainor says that the song talks about the time when someone sees the person, whom he or she used to date, happy with someone else.
"So, you're, like, 'I'm happy for you. Maybe someday in the future, if we're back together, that'd be cool. Good luck. I haven't seen that smile in a long time. That's great," she added. "'Maybe someday when we're old and grey, we could be in love once more.' Oops! There's a line!"
She also mentioned a few things about what it was like to work with the British heartthrob. Before they met, Trainor shared that she was so worried that he was going to "be like a Justin Bieber." She stated, "But, he was just so normal. I immediately wasn't nervous anymore."
Trainor informed The Associated Press, as reported by Fox News, apart from realizing that Styles was actually a really good guy, that she was very impressed with his ability to check into his emotions. He pours his heart on every word that he puts into the song.
"His lyric game for a 20-year-old boy was incredible," she said of the Brit's amazing song-writing skills. Plus, now that the ice has been broken, she even teased him about it. "I was just, like, 'Who hurt you, Harry? You're so good at this. So good,'" Trainor shared.
"Someday Maybe" is a ukulele song that was made to be sung by two people, preferably a male and female. She does not know yet if she and Styles will be the ones to record the song, but she did admit, however, that they are both looking for the right people for the duet.
Before it was confirmed that she and Styles were only spending hours together for "Someday Maybe," the Internet went abuzz with rumors that they were dating. Trainor thought the rumors were crazy.
"Do you know how many hours I've spent with that man? Maybe two or three," she said incredulously on Capital FM Radio, as reported by New York Daily News. "And then, they're, like, 'Are you dating?' What? No! Did we scissor? No!"
