With only a week left before Sony comes out with the list of free games on its premium membership, PS Plus, gamers are already anticipating which titles are included. Many are hoping that another AAA game would be given free this month.
Should it happen, it would not be the first time a game with that quality would be included. According to Franchise Herald, Sony gave out free AAA titles in the past two months after gamers have called for it non-stop since November.
Matthew Harper, Senior Manager for PlayStation Digital Platforms, made the announcement in the firm's official blog.
Now that the time for the PS Plus IGC list is about to come out, many speculations have circulated on the possible titles to be included in the list.
A report in Christian Today has come out with some confirmed titles that are included in the list for next month. However, these are paid games and are not AAA quality.
The list included "Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed" and "Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth 2: Sisters Generation," both of which would be released on Feb. 6. Meanwhile, the Japanese RPG game, "Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart," would come out on Feb. 27.
Meanwhile, PlayStation fans have been demanding for titles to be added into the February 2015 free games roster. This list includes, "Resident Evil: Revelations Episode 1," "Olli Olli," "Toukiden," "Rain," "Transistor" and "Battlegrounds."
Sony has not issued any statement whether these titles would be included in the list.
However, fans of "Evolve" and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" could now breathe a sign of relief as these two are confirmed to come out in February.
PlayStation Lifestyle has confirmed that these two titles, among others, would definitely hit the IGC and markets soon.
"Evolve" is scheduled to be out on Feb. 10 while "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" is out for PS4 and PS3 on Feb. 24.
However, no announcement has been made if the said titles are free for PS Plus members.
Other titles confirmed for February are "Criminal Girls: Invite Only," "Game of Thrones Episode 2: The Lost Lords," Unmechanical: Extended," "Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires," "Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 1," "Dying Light," "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round," "Don Bradman Cricket" and "The Order: 1886."
For those who cannot wait for the official announcement of the free games, Sony has devised a way that members could take advantage of their titles. A 10 percent discount is offered to users of PS4, PS3 and PS Vita at the PlayStation store.
However, pre-order title are not included with the discount.
