‘Avengers 2: Age of Ultron’ Release Date & Trailer: Opening Scene Leaked; Iron Man, Hulk, Thor & More!

"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is easily the most awaited superhero movie of 2015, which can only mean that it will continue to dominate the headlines just several months before its theatrical release. Although the opening scene has already been revealed, its finer details are still kept under wraps.

Empire Magazine, as reported by Movie Web, has a description of the opening scene. Early last year, it was rumored that the sequel to the hit blockbuster was going to start off with a Bond-like action sequence, with members of the Avengers paying Hydra's Baron Von Strucker, played by Thomas Kretschmann, a visit in his Eastern European castle. It is in this castle that Strucker reportedly keeps Loki's scepter.

Whatever happened down at the castle, it looks like it left the Avengers in considerable distress. In the opening scene, Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey, Jr., was flying the ship, while Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner, was laid on a table with a drip attached to his arm.

Bruce Banner, played by Mark Ruffalo, might have also "Hulked out," otherwise coined as Code Green. This could only mean that he got to inflict a lot of damage. Being the kindhearted man that he is, he was deeply troubled by it. Even Natasha, played by Scarlett Johansson, could not reassure him from his woes and she attempts to seek back up from Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth.

Hemsworth, being a Norse God, is pretty happy that Hulk had an all-out war with their enemies. He praised Hulk's violence and used words, like, "whimpering", "victims", and "screams." Sadly, his tribute only made Hulk a lot worse.

The group may have met Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Quicksilver, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, at the fortress. As reported by Screen Rant, Strucker not only has Loki's scepter, but he also controls the super-powered siblings, who turn out to be Inhumans.

The report also said that the opening scene for the "Avengers 1," where Loki was featured stealing the Tesseract from S.H.I.E.L.D., was frequently described as one of the film's weakest spots. However, in "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron," the attack on Strucker's fortress sounds to be a good improvement in the franchise's opening scene department.

The blockbuster's director, Joss Whedon, also joked about the fate of the Avengers, according to Movie Web. "I f***ing kill them - all of them. I do it. Marvel doesn't even realize it," Whedon teased. "When they see the final cut, they'll be, like, 'Oh my God! What are we going to do for Phase 3? We literally have no one! Except Ant-Man!' They're going to be so pissed."

Movie Web, in a separate article, also reported that Whedon might have plans to take a more villain-focused take on the franchise soon. "I've been working on a lot of Ultron scenes," he joked. "So, I'm very anti-Avengers right now. I've come to the conclusion that Ultron is right. The Avengers need to die."
