Xbox Live Free Games with Gold February 2015 List Revealed - IDARB, Sniper Elite V2, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

With February coming near, Microsoft's Xbox Live has finally announced the free games available to Games with Gold members for the upcoming month.

According to Major Nelson, three new games are free for Games with Gold members in February. The membership club has made "IDARB", short for "It Draws a Red Box" free for the whole month for Xbox One.

This game is sold at $14.99 for non-members.

The addition of "IDARB" in the Games with Gold roster has been confirmed as early as December, notedChristian Post.

The game, which was developed by Other Ocean Interactive, is a combination of hockey and basketball and the premise is to shoot as many goals in the goal box as one can.

Gamers could play as one-on-one characters or as a team. "IDARB" could have up to a maximum of eight players in one game, said the Examiner.

While scoring goals seems fairly easy, additional points could be added to a team or player depending on the style it went inside the goal box. Meanwhile, staying in front of the goal box for more than three seconds to keep opponents from scoreing would award the other team a penalty.

The game is filled with exciting features and mini-games that could rival other video games out in the market. It also exudes a retro vibe with its classic 2-dimensonal platform.

Gamers are kept up-to-date with other people playing and saying about "#IDARB" on Twitter with a moving screen found at the lower part of the display that shows status updates with the hashtag.

Meanwhile, members who play with Xbox 360 would have not one but two free games in February. Beginning Feb. 1, members could download the "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. This would be available until Feb. 15. Afterwhich, the video game could be accessed for $14.99.

"Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" was developed in 2013 by Starbreeze Studios, reported Polygon. Gamers play the character of two brothers who solve puzzles in their quest to cure their ill father.

Since the game's launch in 2013, it has since sold 800,000 copies, said PlayStation Lifestyle. In Jan. 16, 2015, Starbreeze announced that the company has sold the game to 505 Studios.

"Sniper Elite V2" would be free for Xbox 360 gamers beginning Feb. 16 to Feb. 28. Non-members could buy the game at the price of $29.99.

"Sniper Elite V2" is a video game set during the Second World War. Players are assigned tasks to thwart Nazi attacks.
