It seems that Justin Bieber is trying his best to win back ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. The 20-year-old singer recently shared a snippet of his upcoming song in a social networking site, which appears to speak of his relationship with his former beau.
According to Music Times, the Canadian singer uploaded two 15-second clips of his new songs on his Instagram account. The songs mentioned two things his followers were not expecting.
The first clip talked about faith.
The lyrics were, "How do her eyes become lighter? How do our eyes become brighter? You gotta believe in something higher."
Meanwhile, the second clip, which has already earned 668,000 likes on Instagram, seems to speak about his former relationship, noted Hollywood Life.
In the short clip, the "Beauty and the Beat" singer was heard crooning the words, "When It's raining it's pouring, How do I always end up the enemy? How do I wake up in the morning and you're not right next to me? How did we throw it all away?"
It's not clear whether the song is indeed about his past relationship with the former Disney star and Bieber himself did not offer anything else about the snippets.
The pair, who had been seeing each other on and off, officially split in October 2014. According to The Daily Mail, the reason behind their split is Bieber's flirtatious ways with other ladies including 19-year-old model, Kendall Jenner.
The "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer was on a trip with then-boyfriend Bieber in Paris when they had a major blowout in the airport. The Disney alum allegedly discovered that her boyfriend has been texting Jenner the whole time. She apparently felt humiliated and broke things off.
The former couple has since moved on with their respective lives and Bieber was seen spending a lot of time with model Hailey Baldwin, actor Alec Baldwin's daughter, reported Perez Hilton.
Meanwhile, Gomez were spotted getting cozy with DJ and producer Zedd. The two left the Golden Globes together while holding hands, said Hollywood Life.
But a few days after that, it was learned that Gomez had dinner with her ex-boyfriend Bieber at Mastro's Steakhouse in West Hollywood. Rumors of the two reuniting circulated afterwards.
While Zedd and Gomez have not confirmed their relationship status, the two have taken to Instagram to post photos and share their feelings about each other.
A recent photo the Disney star uploaded was captioned with, "Missing L.A. and this punk, just a little tonight."
