Super Bowl 2015 Date, Score & Live Stream: Patriots vs Seahawks Preview

The biggest sporting event of the season is only a couple of days away and football fans can hardly wait for the 2015 Super Bowl to finally kick off. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 1, Sunday, but the coverage will begin by 12:00 p.m. ET.

This is the second straight season that the Seattle Seahawks (14-4) are at the Super Bowl stage, according to the Bleacher Report. However, this time around, they come face-to-face with a new rival, the New England Patriots (14-4). It is the Patriots' goal to knock off the defending champions from their pedestal and grab their fourth Lombardi Trophy.

The 2015 Super Bowl will be taking place at the University of Phoenix Stadium, which is Glendale, Arizona. Thankfully for those who cannot make it at Arizona in time, NBC Sports is going to provide a free live stream for the grand football match-up, including Katy Perry's halftime show, as reported by HNGN.

Even analysts are having a hard time predicting who might emerge victorious in this year's Super Bowl match, especially as it features the top two seeds from both the AFC and the NFC.

Plus, it is also reportedly difficult to determine who the overall MVP, or Most Valuable Player, is going to be. Malcolm Smith's win in last year's season came as a surprise, and analysts do not want to end up wrong with their prediction two times in a row.

Given that the Patriots and the Seahawks are the best in the league, it can only be predicted that there will be, what is referred to as, "situational football" at play, as reported by SB Nation. This means the players know what to do and how to execute them depending on the details of the situation they are facing.

According to Duron Harmon, safety for the Patriots, it is hard to identify a specific preview for the game, since there are so many things that they can do on the field. "There are thousands of different situations that can occur within a game with different variations in those situations. It's all about recognition and awareness."

Dissecting games into certain situations in order to arrive at a preview of the game can hugely help in preparing a team. However, it is such an artful skill that it is built in emphasis and in teaching. Bill Belichick of New England and Pete Carroll of Seattle have somehow adapted this method and made it a cornerstone of how they coach and how their team does its practice sessions.
