Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger have been linked in a romantic relationship for three months. It's been reported by a number of sources that Patrick's mother, Maria Shriver, along with the Kennedy clan aren't ecstatic about the relationship.
In a new report, E! Online claims that per a source, Shriver isn't as opposed to the blossoming romance as initially thought. According to an eyewitness, Shriver reportedly shared dinner with Cyrus, 22, and her son Patrick, 21, at Laurel Hardware in West Hollywood, Calif.
"They all looked like they were having a great time-enjoying engaging conversation and laughing," recalled the source to E! News exclusively. "It looked like Maria and Miley got along really well."
Unlike their usual jaw-dropping public displays of affection, the pair were still sweet on each other but in a more subtle way. "I saw her put her arm on his shoulder and then he put his arm around her," continued the eyewitness and commented that, "They were smiling a lot."
The threesome apparently had a nice, intimate meal together as the eyewitness recalls no one approached their table throughout dinner. "Miley and Patrick were really cute together," and added, "They look like they are genuinely in love."
Patrick's Parents Both On Board?
Now that Shriver has taken a liking to the "Wrecking Ball" singer, she joins Arnold Schwarzenegger, whom Hollywood Life reports has given his blessing to. The 67-year-old former Governor reportedly approves of Miley and loves that they're now dating.
"Arnold loves that Patrick is dating Miley. He's been showing her off around Ketchum to all his friends. Arnold loves being in the spotlight and is really enjoying all the attention Patrick's relationship with Miley is getting. He's proud of Patrick for dating such a sought after girl like Miley. He compares it to dating Madonna at the peak of her fame," revealed a knowing insider.
Apparently, Arnold's acceptance of Miley became a hot topic between him and his ex-wife who did not approve of the relationship early on.
Aside from the Miley and Patrick love affair, there is also news that Miley's younger brother Braison is now dating Patrick's sister Christina Schwarzenegger after they met November of last year.
From the look of things, Patrick's family is now on board the Miley Cyrus train!
