Fans are anxiously waiting new game releases for Bethesda's "The Elder Scrolls" and "Fallout" with many hoping this year, a new title release will finally happen.
Master Herald reports that presently, Bethesda is focused on expanding "The Elder Scrolls Online." After much fanfare and a lot of excitement from fans, while the game has done very well, they failed to deliver on features leaving a number of gamers disappointed.
Apparently the firm hasn't given up hope and is looking to boost the online role-playing video game. The site evaluates, "The company seems to be putting all of their effort into the online title, so that doesn't leave much development effort for the next installment. Of course, Bethesda could just be being very secretive about their work process right now."
Official news on the two games have been few and far between. As it stands, Master Herald analyzes both games have an equal chance of being released but, unfortunately, we will probably see a sequel in 2016.
After much delay, it was announced last month that the development of the Xbox One and PS4 versions of "The Elder Scrolls Online" are still going and the console release has been pushed to June 9, 2015. "The Elder Scrolls Online" will be relaunched For PC/Mac users on March 17 of this year as "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited."
"The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited includes all the great gameplay from the original PC/Mac game, plus all the updates and content additions, including the exciting new Justice and Champion systems. If you've ever played ESO, you'll be invited to return to the game and experience everything new in the world without game subscription fees. If you're new to ESO, you'll make a one-time purchase of the game and then continue playing without restrictions for as long as you like," said the statement.
As of now, it's unknown if the firm has any plans to announce either "Fallout 4" or "The Elder Scrolls 6" in 2015 but based on the company's previous timeline of game releases, a new title is announced every four years meaning we could see a new game mid-year, specifically during E3 2015 to be held June 16 to 18, notes TFJ.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the sequel to 2011's "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" as well as a sequel for "Fallout 3" released in 2008.
