The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly set their eyes on potential free agents, according to Sports World Report. Rumor has it that the team is eyeing Rajon Rondo, Reggie Jackson, Greg Monroe, Tyler Ennis, Goran Dragic, and Kevin Love.
The report also mentions that the Lakers want to give their star player, Kobe Bryant, more support during gameplay. Bryant will be coming back next season after he recovers from another serious injury.
The reports of NBA trade rumors involving the LA Lakers come with the team's hope that they can turn things around by the 2015 to 2016 season.
Dragic is expected to become popular when summer comes. He will be one of the best available options for an effective trade, except for LaMarcus Aldridge and Marc Gasol.
"Every team in the NBA is an option to me, because it is a privilege to play for any team in the NBA," Dragic told The Houston Chronicle, as reported by Sports World Report in a separate article. "When the time comes, I'm going to sit down with my family and my agent and try to make the best decision for myself."
Cross Map reports that the 2014 to 2015 season was, undoubtedly, one of the worst for the Lakers. Sadly for the team, they slipped down to the Western Conference's bottom three. Their current standing this season could only mean that the much-coveted championship title is well out of their reach.
Rumor has it that Jeremy Lin, despite his recent show of renewed strength on the court, is still not off the trading table. Since the Lakers are planning a massive team overhaul, Lin might end up being traded off for Rondo and Love, as noted by Cross Map.
The team has not said anything to quash the rumor, but if their decision to diminish his playing time is any indication, then it looks like speculations could be true.
Nick Young, a solid Lakers player, may not be the best on the hardwood, but he is reportedly a valuable part of team, as claimed by Bleacher Report. Apparently, Young has a skill of making the team look and sound even more appealing to other people, especially those who may soon join the team.
"I told Goran Dragic on the court, 'You might be my teammate next year,'" Young said, according to Daily News. "I'll talk to Marc Gasol. Me and him are cool. Kevin Love, I'll talk to him."
