Southern California football player and former Minnesota Vikings kicker, Chris Kluwe has put his Huntington Beach home on the market and the asking price is $1.995 million.
Within the 3,700 square feet space is a family room with a fireplace, formal living room, dining rooms and an office. The master suite of the house has a fireplace and a walk in closet. The two story house looks so dashing with its curving staircase.
Built in 1998, the home has four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms. It also includes a custom video game room that has a 106-inch projector screen.
Outside of the house is a "covered patio centers on a swimming pool with dual waterfalls and a raised spa," as per Los Angeles Times. On the grounds are a fire pit and a built-in BBQ.
Kluwe purchased the home for $1,650,000 back in 2010.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1981, Kluwe was an All-American high school football player, attended the University of California at Los Angeles. Back in 2007, Minnesota Vikings punter, Chris Kluwe signed a six year, $8.3 million contract extension with the team. He was the punter of the team for eight years. Prior to his successful career, he also frequently spoke out in support of the LGBT community.
In 2013, he accused the Minnesota Vikings of releasing him over his outspoken beliefs and threatened to sue them for wrongful termination. After two weeks of his released, Kluwe joined the Oakland Raiders, but they released him right away before the start of the regular season.
In 2014, Kluwe and Vikings have reached a settlement. Both sides undisclosed the terms of the agreement.
Aside from being an athletic and LGBT advocate, Kluwe is an author too, he wrote the essay collection "Beautifully Unique Sparkleponies" and co authored the science fiction novel "Prime."
