'NCIS' Season 13 Episode 2 Spoilers: John Gabriel's Luis Mitchell To Reveal Details About Gibbs' Past

"NCIS" Season 13 will reveal more information about Gibbs' past, and this will be told by John Gabriel's Luis Mitchell.

According to Design & Trend, fans of "NCIS" will see how much Gibbs has changed in the upcoming second episode for Season 13. The episode titled "Personal Day" will also feature the return of Luis, one of Gibbs' old friends.

"Gibbs calls on the team to assist DEA Agent Luis Mitchell with a case that keeps going cold, but DiNozzo discovers there is more to Gibbs' personal connection to the agent and his desire to help him succeed. Also, the team gossips about Gibbs' new look after he replaces his standard military haircut and polo shirt for a modern cut and tailored dress shirt," the official synopsis for episode 2 read.

Meanwhile, showrunner Gary Glasberg talked about Gibbs' physical changes in the upcoming second episode. "There are physical changes they'll see. There are some psychological changes. There are changes in his approach to his agenting," he told TV Guide.

In Season 12, Gibbs was shot, and fans immediately thought that he died. Now that he's alive, fans can expect to see major revelations about the character, more specifically details about his past.

"There are definite changes and adjustments to the Gibbs character in this near-death experience that he has," he said. Gibbs will also reportedly be involved in a case that fans need to watch out for in the same episode.

In other news, while Gibbs was away, Tony rose up to the occasion. He was the one who was responsible for tracking down The Calling and closing the case. However, there will be some conflicts when Gibbs returns.

"There's issues that have to get worked out between team members, very specifically between Tony and Gibbs," Glasberg said.

"NCIS" Season 13 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
