'Chicago PD' Season 3 Episode 7 Preview: Atwater Eager To Make a Good Impression on a Prominent Captain; Olinsky Finds Himself In A Difficult Situation

After two episodes last week, "Chicago PD" Season 3 will be back with a single episode this week, and this time it may focus on the other characters of the show.

According to the episodes 5 and 6 recap of "Chicago PD" Season 3 by TV Fanatic, the team got an emergency call about a dead body which was found inside an SUV. Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and her temporary partner Price (Travis A. Knight) discovered the victim in the car and the team investigated the true identity of the man.

The victim's girlfriend revealed that the victim died of a heart attack, and she told them that he was affiliated with the CIA. The team later learned that the man worked in the CIA years ago although he wasn't an agent. He was living in his fantasy world and has been involved in murders of suspects of many crimes.

Meanwhile, Lindsay (Sophia Bush) and Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) earlier decided that they should keep their relationship on a professional level when they are at work. However, by the end of the episode, they both decided that they should just be open about their relationship.

In the new episode of "Chicago PD" Season 3, it seems like the show will be focusing on the other characters, according to the official synopsis in Cartermatt. The official synopsis reveals that the team will be working on the case of a missing teenage boy who is believed to pose a serious threat to his school. Meanwhile, Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) will be working on making a good impression on a prominent police captain played by guest star Eamonn Walker.

It was also reported that Olinsky (Elias Koteas) and Michelle (guest star Madison McLaughlin) will find themselves trapped in a difficult situation, and this will lead him to turn to Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) and Burgess for help.
