Brooks Laich and Julianne Hough are now officially engaged. The proposal happened at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at Julianne's grandparents' place.
Washington Post says that Julianne Hough shared in her social media account the great news early Tuesday. Yes, she is already engaged with her boyfriend Brooks Laich, ice hockey center of Washington Capitals. The photo posted comes with a caption saying, "We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiance #love." The same post has been posted in the social media account of Brooks Laich. Obviously, the two lovebirds have coordinated their updates.
If remembered, the two have started dating in December 2013. They were introduced by their common friend Teddy Sears, who is a co-star of Hough in "Curve."
According to the report, Laich is definitely the perfect guy for Hough. He does a lot of things for his fiancee, like picking her up at the airport with a bunch of flowers.

When the two-time former "Dancing With The Stars" champion had been interviewed about her relationship with the ice hockey player, she said that she knew already that Brooks was the one for him. She told Redbook that with her relationship with Laich, she's no longer holding anything back. She is completely honest with her boyfriend. Unlike her previous relationship, she admitted that it was like her other foot was stepping outside because she didn't want to get hurt. She also didn't expressed what was in her mind since she didn't want to ruffle any feathers. She felt like she needed to be perfect then. But now, with her present relationship, she's been honest with him from day 1. "I'd rather get my heart broken than never know what it is to be completely, madly in love. If I had been this open in my last relationship [with Ryan Seacrest], who knows?" she confessed.
