The official premiere date of "Teen Wolf" Season 5B has been revealed, and MTV decided to move it to a new schedule.
According to Cartermatt, "Teen Wolf" will now be airing every Tuesday night beginning January 5, 2016. According to the report, this was done to avoid competition against some of the biggest shows like "Better Call Saul" and "Blindspot."
However, some sources seem to not approve of the new schedule as ABC Family will be launching their new show, "Shadowhunters," at the same time as "Teen Wolf." Fans of younger ages might reportedly want to watch the new show instead as it is based on the Mortal Instruments series. It is also considered to be one of the most anticipated shows in 2016.
Meanwhile, the cast and production of "Teen Wolf" attended the recent New York Comic-Con, and Tyler Poser, who plays the role of Scott, gave important details about the new villains in the second part of the season. According to Australia Network News, along with Posey, some of his co-stars like Dylan Sprayberry and Cody Christian talked about the new monster in the show called The Beast.
Posey described the new villain as "ominous" and "scary." However, he did not reveal further details about the character as he said that they don't know more about it yet.
Christian and Sprayberry, on the other hand, revealed that they have already shot some of the scenes with the character, and both of them shared their sentiments upon seeing the character for the first time. According to them, The Beast may be the funniest thing they have seen in their life.
The new trailer for Season 5B was also revealed at the New York Comic-Con 2015, and it seems like the pack will be getting their hands full in the return of the season.
"Teen Wolf" Season 5 will return on Jan. 5, 2016 on MTV.
