Stylish couple, Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder, bumped into another Hollywood duo, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, during ther day out in New York East Village. The "Vampire Diaries" actor and the "Twilight" star were seen in good spirits as they went shopping in the elite hub.

It was a rare sighting to see the famous couples meeting and chatting along NYC streets. However, it was not the first time for Ian to hang out with Diane and Joshua. Diane was a good friend of Nina Dobrev, Ian's former girlfriend of three years, and they used to hang out while he and Nina were still together, Daily Mail reports.

Nikki and Ian wore fashionable fedoras on their most recent outing. Nikki was wearing a long skirt, black ankle boots, black top, scarf and the black hat. She carried one of her Freedom Animal capsule collection boho bags. Her husband, on the other hand, was equally stylish in a grey shirt, dark jeans and cream fedora.

The 36-year-old actor was a gentleman as he carried their shopping bags. Nikki and Ian went to a retail therapy shop, Rag & Bone, and shopped for some goods at the gourmet market Dean & Deluca before heading back to their hotel.

Meanwhile, as Nikki and Ian were spotted enjoying a low-key day in NYC, they have been facing divorce rumors lately. According to Star magazine via Star Pulse, the couple has different opinions on starting a family. Ian is reportedly ready to be a father, while Nikki is currently focused on her career.

"Nikki is ambitious and worries about derailing her career if she gets pregnant now," a source told Star Magazine. Since Ian really wants to have children, this could easily become a more serious problem, especially if Nikki keeps putting it off."

According to the site, it was also the same reason that Ian and Nina called it quits. Since he is in the right age to settle down and start a family, just like Nikki, Nina had been reportedly not yet willing to give up her career to settle down.

In an interview with Entertainment Online, the actor gushed about his new married life and how excited he was to have a baby.

"It's the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something," he gushed. "It's a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world -- but I really can't wait to do it and really just love it."
