The Canadian TV series shown on BBC, "Orphan Black," is currently in production, and the showrunners have hinted several storylines for the Season 4 of the show. According to the recently revealed synopsis for the series' upcoming season, Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) will go on a solo mission to figure out once and for all how the clones started, which is greatly connected to Beth.
According to Moviepilot, Beth's story will be the main focus in Season 4 as her death was what ultimately kickstarted the show's story. In Season 4, Sarah will reportedly have to follow "Beth's trail down the rabbit hole," which is very similar to what happened in Season 1, where Sarah assumed Beth's personality and tried to live her life.
Meanwhile, as Sarah tries to uncover the clones' past, it was said that she will revert to her old habits, which in turn will alienate her from her loved ones. This may mean that viewers will get to see the old irresponsible and lost Sarah from Season 1, but the site said that it's still unclear if Sarah's old habits mentioned in the show's synopsis involve stealing, doing cons, or something darker.
The site further stated that the clone's new enemy in the show, the Neolution, which was revealed in Season 3, could be the strongest foe that the "clone club" will have to face yet. According to the report, showrunner Graeme Mason has previously hinted that there will be more body horror themes in Season 4 and that the "organization's philosophy appears to be far more deep-rooted than we've known so far."
The Hollywood Reporter, meanwhile, has revealed a new character for "Orphan Black" Season 4. According to the site, "Rookie Blue" alum, Joel Thomas Hynes, was cast as a series regular. He will play the role of Dizzy, a "hacker who doesn't conform to group mentality.
"Orphan Black" Season 4 will premiere in fall 2016.
