The previous Moto 360 is still one of the best Android Wear smartwatches to date. So now that the "Moto 360 2015" has surfaced, it's exciting to find out whether this smartwatch can beat its rivals such as the Apple Watch and Huawei Watch.

The "Moto 360 2015" is already available for orders, but delivery takes about 10 days. Costs starts at $230 and can reach $349 depending on which model you choose. Here are some of the things that we know about the new "Moto 360 2015".

"Moto 360 2015" Design

The new "Moto 360 2015" looks as good as the original version, which is a good thing, as the original Moto 360 did look great. But there are a few changes as well and this include the power button position, which has been transferred to the half past 1 position to allow for a more comfortable pressing and to avoid accidentally pressing the button. The strap lugs were also improved by extending it, allowing for easier strap changing, and allowing the smartwatch to look more like a watch rather than a mini tablet wrapped around your wrist. At the back of the watch, there is a heart rate sensor that is extra useful if you are a fitness enthusiast.

Variants of the "Moto 360 2015" include a 42mm version, a 46 mm version, and a 'designed for women' version which also happens to be 42mm in size but the strap is thinner and appears to be  more feminine.

"Moto 360 2015" Specs

The resolution for the "Moto 360 2015" models is 320 x 290 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with a Backlit LCD panel. It is powered by Snapdragon 400 with 1.2 GHz quad core CPU. The internal storage is 4 GB and the RAM is 512. For connections, the "Moto 360 2015" has Bluetooth support and WiFi 802 11 b/g support which allows your watch to get notifications as long as you are connected to a network.

Additional sensors the "Moto 360 2015" has include an accelerometer, gyroscope, vibration engine, and the ambient light sensor which adjusts the display brightness depending on the environment. This means the screen will always have a satisfying level of brightness without compromising power.

"Moto 360 2015" Battery

The original Moto 360 may have struggled to impress people with its battery life, which is why the new "Moto 360 2015" has been improved in this category. The smaller "Moto 360 2015" has a 300 mAh battery and the larger model has a 400 mAh battery. Motorola says that the new chip in the "Moto 360 2015" allows for better power management that can make your device last 1.5 days for the 42mm model and 2 days for the 46mm model.
