"The Good Wife" Season 7's second episode entitled "Innocents" was aired this week and viewers finally got to meet freelance investigator, Jason Crouse. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, known to TV fans as Denny Duquette in "Grey's Anatomy" and John Winchester in "Supernatural," takes on the role of Alicia Florrick's (Julianna Margulies) new henchman, and the two characters seem to have a spark, a connection that fans deem to be a chance for a new romance for the lawyer.

Margulies shared in an interview with E! Online, "I think Alicia needs some loving. I think it's pretty important. I think the danger of her trying to do everything herself is, she's closing off a very vulnerable side of herself that she's becoming afraid of, to open up again."

"The Good Wife" S07E02 showed that the attraction between Alicia and Jason is quite palpable. The chemistry between them is flirty, with a mutual underlying physical desire, TV Line reported.

While "The Good Wife" S07E02 presented that things may be quite complicated when it comes to the lawyer's relationship status, there is that strong indication that romance is brewing.  Diane offers Jason twice the pay, but he still opts to work for Alicia.

Margulies is also all about showing her character's vulnerable side, which would come to pass if she would fall for someone who'd be able to reciprocate. She said, "And I'd love to see her find that vulnerable side, and I think she can only find that if she falls in love with someone and has the capacity to love back."

"The Good Wife" season 7 stars Matt Czuchry as Cary Agos, Alan Cumming as Eli Gold, Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn, Makenzie Vega as Grace Florrick, Zach Grenier as David Lee, and Christine Baranski as Diane Lockhart, along with Margulies and Morgan.

"The Good Wife" season 7 episode 3 titled "Cooked" will air on Oct. 18.
