Award-winning actor Kevin Costner has listed his La Canada Flintridge home again in the market for about $5.588 million. It was reported that the Italian Mediterranean-style villa was on the market for $2.69 million in 1999, and since then the property had undergone renovations.
The 7,500-square-foot villa was designed by Architect San Juan Capistrano and John McInnes. The mansion was completed in 1989. It was reported that the main house measures 6,754 square feet. The property features a 1,000-bottle wine cellar, recreational room and a customized aquarium.
The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom villa of the 60-year-old Golden Globe awardee also features a grand foyer with a sweeping staircase, decorative chandeliers, antique furniture and Spanish marble pillars. The house is highlighted by hand-painted ceiling frescos and lots of artisan touches.
Other amenities of the two-storey home are an office, game room and an artist studio. It also features a trimmed garden, walking trails, large outdoor pool, and sports court.
It was reported that Costner and his wife, Cindy, settled into the home two years ago.
In his 36-year career as an American actor, film director, producer and singer, Costner had won several prestigious awards including an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. He was also a nominee for British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
Currently, Kevin Costner's net worth is at $150 million.
