There is a new face in the upcoming Season 6 of "Game of Thrones."
The proud administrators of Belfast School of Performing Arts has announce on their Facebook page that a student was given a significant role in the much awaited season 6 of the HBO hit "Game of Thrones". The student's name is Michael Nevin and he is represented by Universal Youth Agency, which confirmed the casting.
"Thrilled to announce that one of our Universal Youth Artists has just been confirmed and will be shooting for two weeks on Game of Thrones. What a star Michael Nevin is! Go Universal Youth," Universal Youth Agency on their Facebook page on Oct. 10.
There is no word yet as to what role Michael Nevin will play in the hit TV series. In May, Watchers on the Wall, the same one who broke the News about the young boy's casting, published casting breakdowns for boys earlier this year, but the flash back scenes that needed a young boy were filmed in August already. Thus it is a possibility that his role will be more than just being the younger version of a certain main character.
According to Watchers on the Wall, Season 6 of Game of Thrones is already beyond the books so it is a bit hard to guess what role Michael Nevin would be given. There are those who speculate that with 2 weeks of filming, he won't be appearing in merely one episode unless it is one episode with a story revolving around this boy's possible character.
Besides Michael Nevin, Game of Thrones is adding another actor. According to Watchers on the Wall, the show is looking for an actor to play a warrior in his 30's or 40's. Specifically they want someone with mixed ethnicity or Middle Eastern background. It is presumed by some that the actor will play as a Dothraki warrior.
"Game of Thrones" will return to HBO in 2016.
