OnePlus X, aka OnePlus Mini, has been stirring the internet again. This time, it came with a leaked image of the unit and a listing on the U.S. FCC certification.
OnePlus X or 'mini' rumors about its specs are going around. One says that it will have a 5.0-inch Full HD LCD display that will have 2GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera while a 5MP front-facing one. Plus a 3000mAh power source, Android Authority reported.
Another OnePlus X or 'mini' rumored spec is 5.0-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution LCD display with a Synaptics S3708 touchscreen controller, which is also present in the Xiaomi Mi 4c.
A third rumored spec is a 1.9GHz processor with several connection capabilities such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio and GSM. Plus, it is said to be 4G LTE bands 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 compatible, quad-band GSM and NDTV gadgets. The US FCC model number is tagged as E1005, Gadgets 360 reported.
OnePlus Mini leaked images are a bit grainy and one cannot exactly tell the appropriate measurement of the smartphone, even if there was a ruler beside it. The best estimate is it will be around 140mm in length and 70mm wide. The images also show a rear-facing camera on the top-left corner, at the center is the company logo. A Micro-USB port is located at the bottom. The front panel image is a bit grainy as well and difficult to confirm anything.
According to earlier reports, the Oneplus X smartphone is supposed to be loaded with a MediaTek MT6795 SoC chip, however, a Snapdragon's 801 seems to have replaced it. It is also believed that the new phone will be NFC compatible and will have an IR blaster as well. The battery is nonremovable to maintain the IP67 integrity.
OnePlus X is supposed to be announced on October 12, but it seems it will not happen. The tipping point of the unit is the price, which is estimated to be around USD $250.
