Hemsworth has provided a glimpse of his personal life to the public as he recently joined the social media site Instagram and posted a picture of his home and their new "house mate." According to E Online, the Australian hunk's Instagram photo shows a portion of his face and a snake in the background. He captioned the post with, "Hangin' with the locals in my backyard...the real Jurassic Park!"

Hemsworth's wife, Pataky, also posted a photo on Instagram, which apparently shows that their house has a snake infestation. Pataky's post was captioned with, "My new house mate!! #Australia #wildlife #lovenature #snakes #vidasalvaje #wildlife #scarymoments #howwegethimout #donttouch #excited"

Back in January, Daily Mail reported that Hemsworth and his family moved back to Australia to settle there for good as he no longer needed to be based in Los Angeles to work. According to the report, Hemsworth bought a house in Byron Bay worth $7 million, which looks like a cozy holiday retreat, based from the pictures on the site.

The house features a blue lagoon overlooking the sea and spacious living areas/sitting rooms where breathtaking ocean views can be enjoyed. The site further reported that the property includes three additional villas with eight bathrooms overlooking Seven Mile beach.

According to Heavy, Hemsworth's net worth is estimated at $50 million, while his wife, who's a model and actress, has total earnings of $5 million. See more of their lovely family pics here.
