"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" has heightened its IP's health system, but it has also strengthened its levels of difficulty to slim down survivability.
Several shooter games at present, with previous and AAA titles, are given various type of damage taken system. The players are allowed to get plenty of shots before they go down with others; this will let the players recover health over time, therefore, providing them more opportunity of survival.
"Call of Duty" IPs' health system is improved, but for this forthcoming one, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," Treyarch appears to be giving a new type of difficulty that will definitely slim down survivability of every player in this game by providing it in a more realistic way, IGN reported.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" game director James Blundell was interviewed by Xbox Achievements, and he officially revealed and explained some vital aspect for this Realistic difficulty in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." Speaking on a more less-detailed description, Realistic difficulty is going to give players their one life for the entire game.
But, on his opinion, Blundell states that "[In Realistic] one has just one point of life, that is why, if you will be shot once, then you're dead. That has entirely changed how you will play your game."
With "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" type of difficulty, lone wolves or players who choose to play just by themselves with no need for a group's help may not have the chance to survive for quite long when Realistic difficulty is on.
"You all must survive as a team. You will end up having respect for the level in a totally different manner, and the moment gunfire is opened up, everyone will just drop to the ground; if any single bullet reaches you or when grenade just goes off close to you, then you're dead," said Jason Blundell.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" appears like going into a fight just like Rambo with steroids is out of the equation if a player prefers to go with Realistic mode. Taking cover and dropping down will now play a major part with the new difficulty.
