It has been confirmed that Jenna Coleman will no longer be part of 'Doctor Who.'

The beautiful 29-year-old actress herself has confirmed that she will not be part of the hit TV series anymore. According to Den of Geek, Clara has departed and Jenna has already filmed her last scenes.

Aside from the confirmation that came from the English actress, BBC has also issued a statement, "However, it's not been revealed exactly when Clara leaves and the question many are already asking is how will she part company with the Doctor?

Jenna Coleman made her 'Doctor Who' debut on Sept. 1, 2012 as Oswin Oswald in Asylum of the Daleks. She returned on Christmas Day of that year, playing Clara, and remained with the Eleventh Doctor from the following episode, The Bells of Saint John, and onwards. She stayed on board the TARDIS for all of Peter Capaldi's episodes to date and after filming for the last series. Peter commented, "Jenna has been absolutely brilliant. I think she's wonderful in the show, and she's my favourite companion."

But Series 9 sees the Impossible Girl's departure, although the how, why and when, are all questions we'll have to watch out for.

So now 'Doctor Who' fans are speculating how her departure will be portrayed in her last episode, since there are no leaks to that episode yet. Fans are speculating that this has something to do with another project. Before Jenna officially quit 'Doctor Who,' Mirror reported about the actress leaving the series for the project drama 'Victoria,' which is reportedly a £10 million series based on the life of Queen Victoria. The show is said to replace the series "Downtown Abbey" which ended this year.

For now, there are no updates as to who will replace her in 'Doctor Who' or if she will be an official cast in the other project.
