Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez dropped a bombshell on Oct. 17. Despite their love-hate relationship, the former couple collaborated for a song titled "Strong," which was first heard in Drake's OVO Sound Radio but was immediately deleted.

"Strong" was kept under wraps by the two singers, who were said to have been amicable lately after Gomez' Lupus announcement. Was their recording a hint that Justin and Selena got back together? According to Hollywood Life (HL), it may be their strategy to stay away from everyone who will be against their romance.

The ex-couple's new track have lines that say:

"You're the only one I'm really missing. Nobody else would be forgiving, cause of all the love that you give me," Justin was heard singing. Selena then responds, "Wishing I was better at this damn thing, cause it's just been too long and I can't change."

The "Good For You" singer revealed in her recent interviews that she was hurt when she and Justin ended their four-year-relationship, but she admitted that they were able to move on and find closure. According to Daily Mail, Justin and Selena's track has been planned a long time ago as it would be "therapeutic" for both of them.

A source told HL that "[Selena and Justin] didn't record this together; they laid their tracks separately but were both very involved with the song's creation and writing."

Some insiders then added that Justin and Selena's song was an epic surprise for their fans, who are still hoping for a Jelena romance.

"Strong" is a slow, sexy track that talks about a complicated relationship while both of them try to give the best of themselves to make their relationship work.
